New Independent Chairperson

The DLR-Drug and Alcohol Task Force has appointed Audry Deane as independent chairperson. Audry, is an experienced public policy analyst and advocate and has undertaken policy roles with Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP), European Anti-Poverty Network, City of Dublin Education and Training Board, The Wheel, Local Employment Service Network, St Stephen’s Green Trust, and Ballyfermot Drug and Alcohol Task Force. She also led on several policy developments with National Womens’ Council of Ireland. She is a graduate of UCD and also has an MBA and certificates in voluntary sector management and in counselling skills and theory. She has formally taken up her role as Task Force chair in February 2021.While welcoming Audry into her new position we say farewell to outgoing chair Sandra Campbell, who steadied the Task Force during a challenging period over the last seven years, and in particular led out on establishing the Task Force as an independent, incorporated entity. We wish her well in her future roles.
