DLR-Community Addiction Team - Adult and under 18s service

Ongoing contact services are via individual staff members. New referrals can be made via 087 278 9678. If this line is busy use landline 01 217 6140 and leave a message on the answering machine, or alternatively contact the service online link here.

Family Support - Ger Hanlon from CAT can be contacted for phone family support (adult family members) at 087 224 0927 (No Family Support Network groups until further notice)

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Outreach Project (DROP) - Adult service

Ongoing support services are being provided via one to one on site appointments at 45 Upper Georges Street, Dun Laoghaire and group support will be provided remotely via Zoom and/or Google Meets to programme participants. Two metre social distancing, staggered appointment times, strict hygiene routines and PPE will allow us to provide our services safely however all services are by appointment only.

Barnardos - children and families

Barnardos projects are open for essential work. Staff continue to provide services to children and families , this is either virtually by telephone, zoom calls etc, or directly with door step visits to all as needed and essential home or project based visits as deemed necessary . All face to face work is risk assessed appropriately and only carried out if essential at present. We are accepting new referrals , to make a referral please call 019059443, or email sylvia.loughlin@barnardos.ie


My Project (Mounttown) - Youth & Families

We are continuing to offer a service to all clients. We will be moving clients to phone or zoom. Any client that is unable to use alternative methods of communication an individual plan will be put in place.

Clients who we meet in person will be offered a reduced session of 30mins. Staff will maintain social distance of 2m and wearing a face masks when the 2m distance cannot be maintained safely.

Rooms are ventilated and cleaned after each session. As an additional precaution we are taking clients temperatures on arrival and clients are asked to not attend if they are unwell or if anyone in their home is unwell etc.

We continue to accept new referrals. We currently have a waiting list but all referrals will be contact and the initial consultation will be conducted over the phone.
